<div>Yesterday, after church, Gloria Sanchez and her father were taking a walk near 4th Street and Pasewalk when they were struck by a truck. Both suffered extremely critical injuries.

<div>Gloria is currently in the ICU at Bryan Health Medical Center in Lincoln, fighting for her life and beginning what will be a long road to recovery. She has suffered a skull fracture, spinal fractures, a brain bleed, and multiple fractured ribs. Her condition remains very serious, and her family is by her side praying for her recovery.

<div>Sadly, Gloria's father did not survive his injuries. He passed away this morning at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha. Our hearts are completely broken for Gloria and the whole family as we face this unimaginable loss while also praying for Gloria's healing.

<div>We are asking our community, friends, family, and anyone who is able to help Gloria and family during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will help with medical expenses, travel, everyday needs, and the many unexpected costs that come with Gloria's long road to recovery.
