This is the story of Nora Josephine. Nora is a healthy baby that is currently 21 weeks in my belly and she has decided to grow in a place that is very dangerous for her and I. Her placenta has started to grow through my uterus and invade my bladder, a serious condition called Placenta accreta, possibly percreta, that will require a blood transfusion and hysterectomy at delivery. Baby Nora has been to the hospital 4 times so far, but we are praying she's able to get closer to 34 weeks before being delivered. Our doctors have advised us that the most conservative measure is to relocate to be closer to Kaiser Panorama City. Nora's health is our top priority but that comes with unplanned medical and housing costs. We are asking our friends and family to first consider praying for Nora to be born healthy and for a safe delivery.
