Prayers and Provisions for Price

Donation protected
Price Eike suffered a catastrophic brain injury on February 6, 2018. He was transported to Washington  Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR where he underwent an emergency double craniotomy.  The neurosurgeon said Price's chance of surviving the surgery was not good.   Many were praying and he made it through with a much more positive prognosis than originally thought.  Over the next 16 days, he stayed in ICU as the medical team battled infection and swelling.
He was moved to the Acute Traumatic Brain Injury Inpatient Rehab facility in Springfield, MO on Thursday, February 22.  Price continued  to suffer with excruciating pain and visible swelling in his face. He had developed a cranial infection so, the following Saturday, February 24 he was transported to the Emergency Room at Mercy Hospital Springfield where he was admitted to ICU for IV antibiotic treatment .  On February 26 they discovered he had post surgical meningitis and on  March 1 Price had another brain surgery to clean out the abscess causing the infection.
Currently , Price remains in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.

The impact of Price's accident has affected his family. His mother, Diana, has taken unpaid leave of absence from work at the Amazeum in order to stay and care for her son in Springfield. Bill, Price's dad travels between Springfield and home (Bentonville , AR) so he can care for the needs of his other two sons, Tristan, who attends college  and Trace, who is a senior at Bentonville High School.
Diana would be one of the first to reach out and help someone with a need such as hers.  It is our hope and prayer that, as a community, we can surround this family in prayers and financial support through this difficult time.  The medical bills alone are going to be astronomical.  The immediate needs are for provisions right now: lodging, gas, food, current bills and living expenses.  Please consider a financial gift to help support Price, Bill, Diana, Tristan and Trace.
We believe in the power of prayer.  Prayer changes things!  This has already been evident in Price's journey.
Thank you for praying and giving to help our friends, the Eike's.
