Prayers and Pennies for Ruthie

As many of you know, Ruthie is a fierce little woman with a big heart and a great love for life.
This past week has been really rough as she became ill and tried to power through it at home. Unfortunately, she became so sick that she had to be taken by ambulance to the ER, and has now been admitted to the Neuro ICU for 'round the clock care and life support.
She has the BEST doctors and nurses taking care of her, but her recovery battle is going to be long and hard. Her underlying diagnosis is still undetermined, but the next weeks will be spent just getting her body to a point where she can actually receive any more necessary tests and treatments. She wont be home for at least 6-8 weeks, and that is assuming she ONLY gets better each day with no setbacks.
With that being said, her job as a Home Health Care Aide is not going to be viable when she comes home, and her expenses will need to be covered somehow as she continues to fight for her life and her recovery.
She has worked her little butt off the past 3 years to get where she is: She is over 1 year Sober, She has her own apartment, a car and wonderful life here in PA, and it is my ultimate goal to make sure she gets to come HOME to her hard earned life as it was (hopefully better) before she became sick.
If you know Ruth like I do, you have seen her as the person who will literally give you her last dollar, her last cigarette, her only day off so that she can cover your shift... She is the most giving, wonderful soul, and she would literally do anything for anyone who asked it of her. She is the one to show up with a book of prayers, or a cute little knick-knack, or your favorite soda just because she wanted to brighten your day. She received joy by giving to others, and she deserves this charity more than anyone else I know.
I pray that you can help by donating any amount you can spare, and please spread the word. We need to be her Warriors by not only helping her in this desperate time of financial need, but to also keep her amazing spirit present in our daily lives. Practice her gratitude, her charity, and her love for God every day!
