Hello Facebook family and friends I am reaching out today to share my sons story with you all. When Jose was 11 years old he was diagnosed with scoliosis. In these past couple of years Jose has suffered with back pain as well as some depression due to his condition and many down days. He loves being outdoors and loves soccer and fishing just as any other 15 year old. He is my oldest baby. We have had to go back and forth with his ortho doctors in San Antonio and have finally decided that surgery (spinal fusion) was the best decision for his condition, although the doctors are being positive there are some risks like any other surgery. His surgery is scheduled for tomorrow at 7:30am at the children’s Methodist in San Antonio. Unfortunately I have ran out of all the paid time off that I will actually need due to having to go back and forth with doctor appointments. During this time I’d like to humbly ask for your help with donations and most importantly with prayers as we will face some tough days ahead. Anything is greatly appreciated being that all of my kiddos and my parents will be tagging along due to the seriousness of the circumstances. Me and my kiddos have never been away from each other for a long period time and that brought me to have to get an Airbnb to have them near me and my parents as well since they are my caregiver's.
