Hi my name is Sienna
My Goal is to make 10,000 prayer beads AND To Spread the Word about getting EARLY SCREENED for cancer!
My prayer beads cost me around 3.00$ to make. When I go to a school or hospital or shelter, I usually make around 100 prayer beads!
How I got inspired to do this is..
My mom Joy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer in June of 2016.
It was really hard and very scary!
I started making her inspirational prayer beads to cheer her up:) I started surprising her with them. I would put them in her bag she would bring to her chemotherapy and radiation treatments!
It really made her happy and gave her hope! We came up with an idea shortly after to make and give out my prayer beads to the other cancer patients at Tampa General Hospital. Everyone really liked them and it gave them hope and made them cheerful!❤️
We also started making and giving out my prayer beads to Children's homeless shelters, delivering them to local hospitals and mailing them out, when someone was in need of HOPE!:)
I recently taught my classmates at
Gorrie Elementary School, how to make my prayer beads.
I hope to Inspire others and teach them how to help cheer up anyone needing it:)!

UPDATE!
My mom is battling cancer again, it Is her 3rd battle with caner in 4 years. She is stage 4 and in a clinical trial at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is fighting hard and we are hard at work too, Making and delivering prayer beads to Patients , Doctors and Nurses.
Moffitt recently did a article about us and my prayer beads. Our goal is to have a Prayerbeadsforforjoy Tree in the hospital. So the patients can pick off prayer beads and hope as needed.
