On Monday, February 16, Chris was in an incident (not work related) that left him severely injured. He was rushed by ambulance to St. Joseph's hospital where determined he had a severe concussion, several lesions, bruising and a massive amount of swelling on his head and face. Luckily, he did not have any brain damage from the fall.  He will be out of work for at least two weeks while the doctors determine whether or not he has bleeding in his brain (this can take up to two weeks to show up on a scan).

We are all so grateful that he survived this incident without any lasting damage, but unfortunately the expenses as a result will be the more continuing problem.  Chris does not have health insurance.  While he did qualify for some financial assistance in the hospital, they don't cover everything, and he will still need follow-up visits and will be missing work while he recovers.

So many people have prayed with us, prayed for us, and asked “what can we do?”  Alleviating the burden of this financial stress, so Chris can rest comfortably knowing everything will be okay is the thing that makes the most sense.  If you have something you want to give, even as little as $5 instead of a card, please donate.  If you can't make a financial contribution, a prayer for a quick recovery would also be much appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance,
The Rhodes Family
