Thennarasu Bakthavachalam is an employee of an Indian firm working at Fairfax, Virginia. He has severe lung problems (Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis) along with Lung Failure. These issues started 1 year ago when he pursued active treatment for breathing problem. He has been struggling with Chronic Respiratory Failure (hypoxia) and on and off with ventilator (life support) for three times in one year
On October 31, 2020 his condition became very serious and transported to the hospital . His condition got worsened in last 2 weeks and almost went to unconscious condition with reduced platelet count and altered parameters. He is struggling for his life.
Thennarasu’s wife (Jayanthi) is not working, COVID-19 impacted her husband's work, and they are financially very disabled. They are here in temporary employment and have two small school going children who are 10yrs and 8 yrs old. We hope her husband and our friend will fight this struggle and come back to see his ever inquiring kids.
We (Thennarasu’s Friends and Family), request on behalf of Thennarasu’s wife Jayanthi to offer any help that you could do to support Thennarasu’s wife and his family during this hard time.
We are ready to send a copy of the official letter from the treating hospital explaining his health condition. Please help this poor family!!!
