Pray for Summer

On May 20th, my sister and brother-in-law, Amber and Brian, received the devastating news that their 13 year old daughter Summer has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Their world was turned completely upside down in moments. Over the coming weeks, they had to adjust to the unthinkable becoming their new reality. They have been so blessed to be surrounded by the most extraordinary people during this difficult time.

Summer has the sweetest disposition and a heart of gold. Her strength has been an inspiration to me and all those around her. Throughout this entire process, all the chemotherapies, lumber punctures, etc., Summer has remained full of positive energy. It’s a blessing to see that the cancer hasn’t dulled her spirit. She is truly the bravest among us.

Amber and Brian, along with their son Ty, are kind, thoughtful, and good hearted people who are overwhelmed and heart broken by this newfound battle against Leukemia. We are hoping to raise this money to alleviate some of the financial burdens that will arise during this time. My wish is to allow the family the ability to focus solely on spending time with Summer and helping her with the long, hard road ahead.
