Hello, my name is Sherry Jackson, I'm Christian's Aunt Sherry and would like to tell you some very exciting news that we truly believe will be a game changer for my nephew! Christian is going to Chicago to see two doctors that are having marvelous results with TBI patients. One of the wonderful followers on the Pray for Mayberry site gave my sister Kim the name of a book about a miraculous turnaround for a man that had a TBI and his journey to find an answer to healing his brain so that he may lead a normal life again.

When my sister told me about this book I immediately down loaded and began to read and found that I could not stop reading and could not wait to get to what or who was going to be able to help this man on his very long journey! In the book, he describes his 8 yearlong journey and the insurmountable challenges and trials. All while being told by the best Doctor in the country this is your life now, there is nothing more we can do, you just must learn to live with it. Long story short after years of "there is nothing more that can be done" He heard from both of these Doctors "I can help you!" and they did just that!! He said after seeing these Doctors it was like coming out of an 8 yearlong dream as well as he felt "normal" for the first time in 8 years!! Today he is living a completely normal, back to his old life and he gives all the credit to these 2 Doctors whom he refers to as Geniuses! The reason this book has tugged at my heart so much is because of the daily hardships I have witnessed my nephew going through. Many times, during reading this book I had to stop and wipe the tears just thinking of how in this world does Christian get through even one day of his life dealing with the struggles of his brain. I stayed with them last fall for 2 weeks and truly saw what a TBI patient goes through and I pray daily for some peace to come to him, his Mother and Grandma who takes care of him every day 24/7.


Christian will require several trips to Chicago which will be very costly and his Mother has limited income, nearly none of the treatments will be covered by his insurance.
