<div>On the morning of Saturday December 21, 2024, while jogging with the team, Pure Heart Muay Thai student 11-year-old Kevin Ouda was struck by a speeding vehicle. Kevin was transported to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego with head trauma for emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

<div>Despite the surgical team's best efforts, as of the morning of Sunday December 22, Kevin is on life support, with a ventilator to maintain his breathing and heartbeat.
