<div>Our 3-year-old niece Sophie (AKA Soapy) is currently in the ICU at Driscolls Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi. She was life-flighted Friday night from Victoria and had surgery Saturday morning. She has been through a lot this past week, but here's the gist of what’s going on, as per my sister’s post.

<div>(As of 7/21/25 PM) Without going into extreme detail, she is still in ICU at Driscolls getting monitored and treated to help continue to strengthen her body and make steps towards recovery.

<div>They are taking it one step at a time, and we are so proud of Sophie!

<div>She is the toughest 3-year-old we know, and even the Doctors and Nurses have said she has the highest pain tolerance and has handled everything so well! 

</div>

<div>Please continue to PRAY for Sophie, for complete healing of her body! For strength, protection of her organs, and for a smooth recovery! We know God is protecting this beautiful girl and bringing healing and restoration to her body!

<div>Anna and Shawn are both great parents who always work so hard and give our nieces the best life! They are currently having to miss work to stay at Sophie’s bedside (rightfully so!) Anyone who’s been in this type of situation knows that there are expenses that come with staying out of town with your child in the hospital. They would probably never ask for help like this, but we know that with unexpected circumstances like this, come future expenses and medical bills, especially from being life-flighted and surgery, not to mention the multiple ER/Dr visits before getting her to Driscoll’s.
