With heavy heart and sorrow, we regret to inform that Mr. Prasad Mannem passed away today at 7:19 PM EST. Despite all medical efforts, he was not able to recover from the initial stroke and had multiple organ failure. All the funds collected with this campaign will now be used for transporting his body back to India and cover funeral expense.

Mr. Prasad Mannem had a massive heart attack on December 4th. He was rushed to emergency in Manassas and was later airlifted to Fairfax INOVA cardiovascular center. He had an emergency surgery for 3 blocked veins, where 2 were treated with stents and the last one being treated with impella device. He is still in critical condition and under 24 hours observation in Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Fairfax INOVA cardiovascular center. He is on visiting visa with no insurance.
He has no immediate family in US. His relatives are taking care of him. His son flew from India to be with him. We are trying to collect funds for his immediate and future doctor visitation expenses.
