This summer I finally began to realize a dream of mine: to make a CD recording in my home province of Saskatchewan, Canada. This will be the first commercially available recording of the magnificent McGuigan Organ, Casavant Frères 1930/1993, Holy Rosary Cathedral, Regina, Saskatchewan. This project, several years in the making, is near and dear to my heart as I assisted in the rebuilding and expansion of this instrument back in 1993.
The recording includes six world premiere recordings, four Canadian works, and several French romantic works by composers including César Franck and Marcel Dupré.
I am asking for your help to make this dream finally come true. Recording is expensive, and I need your assistance to cover costs associated with recording, editing, producing, CD booklet graphic design, mechanical rights, and printing.
My hope is to have the CD project completed and available by mid-November 2019 thanks to RAVEN CD. If you are able to help, please contribute by October 15, 2019.
Donations of $50 or more will receive a FREE copy of the new CD.
Donations of $100 or more will receive a FREE, autographed copy of the new CD, and a handwritten ‘thank you’ note.
Donations of $250 or more received before September 30, 2019 will receive acknowledgement in the CD booklet, and a FREE, autographed copy of the new CD, and a handwritten ‘thank you’ note.
