<div>Für alle, die Prada noch nicht kennen: Sie wurde in Rumänien in einer Drahtfalle zurückgelassen und um freizukommen amputierte sie sich selbst ihr Bein  Auch die Ohren und die Rute wurden ihr abgeschnitten. Sie wurde gefunden und kam danach in unser Shelter von wo aus sie letztes Jahr das Glück hatte, auf eine Pflegestelle zu reisen ❤️

<div>Leider konnte die Haut an ihrem Stumpf nicht abheilen, was für eine Orthese nötig wäre. Deshalb brauchte sie eine Opration. Diese hat Prada gut überstanden  Die Haut an ihrem Stumpf konnte erfolgreich neu verschlossen werden – ein wichtiger Schritt auf ihrem langen Weg.

<div>Die Zeit danach war allerdings alles andere als einfach: Damit die Wunde wirklich heilen konnte, musste ihr Stumpf für längere Zeit am Körper fixiert werden, Bewegung war zunächst tabu. Für eine aktive, lebensfrohe Hündin wie Prada war das natürlich besonders schwer  Trotzdem hat sie auch diese Phase mit bewundernswerter Geduld gemeistert.

<div>Ihre Menschen waren in dieser Zeit rund um die Uhr für sie da und haben sogar eine ganz besondere Lösung erfunden: die „Stumpftasche“  Sie wurde zum echten Gamechanger, weil herkömmliche Verbände für Prada einfach nicht standhielten. Dank dieser kreativen Idee konnte der Stumpf endlich geschützt heilen.

<div>Und nun kam endlich der langersehnte Termin für ihre Orthese ✨ Wie immer hat Prada alles völlig entspannt mitgemacht. Für die Orthese wurde ein Gipsabdruck angefertigt, der nun als Modell für ihr neues Bein dient. Natürlich war Prada dabei aufmerksam wie immer und hat alles interessiert beobachtet
