PR Hurricane Maria Recovery

Hurricane Maria has been the worst natural disaster to hit the Island of Puerto Rico (my home) in many decades. The destruction was catastrophic and it has caused a major humanitarian crisis there. The island is without power and the water and fuel supplies are scarce and unstable. Many families lost everything, and the food supply has been greatly affected by this incredible storm. I spent the last two weeks there, helping family, friends and as many people as I could and can't wait to go back to help. People are hungry and both government and private companies are helping, but we need more.

I want to help the  World Central Kitchen organization who is serving over 100,000 meals a day and needs our help to continue to provide food and water for those in need in the island. I also want to help as many neighbors
and friends in my hometown of Arroyo, PR, who lost everything during the storm and are in need of basic necessity items
.   
I am going back on Saturday, October 21, to continue to do as much as I can to help with the recovery efforts.  I have always been on the giving side of donation efforts, I have never asked for donations before, but this time I really need help. Your contributions to this effort will be greatly appreciated and will go to help these families in need.
