Vet bills for Tigger
On the night of September 14th I had to bring Tigger to the ER because he was lethargic and lifeless like a doll. They said that Tigger has a fatty liver from not eating. After running several tests and administering medication and a feeding tube, he stayed at the vet for 4 nights until I could not afford to keep him there any longer as the bill was already $2800. The vet was able to send him home with a semi-permanent tube in his neck for feeding and medications that I have to give every 8 hours. I need to get his liver levels down and feeding on his own. Tigger has not been getting better and I have to bring him back this week for a check up.
As a full time college student working a part-time job, these upcoming bills are just something I cannot afford right now as I have maxed out my mother’s Care Credit and had to pay $1500 dollars out of pocket, draining my savings. (Tigger had to be taken to the ER last month for kidney problems and that costed me an additional $2400).
If I cannot afford to pay this, I will have to put Tigger down, and that is the last thing that I want to do.
If you know me, Tigger is the very first animal of my own and I got him my freshman year of college as a kitten when I was in California to help me through the hard times of being homesick and wanting to quit and go home. He has been such a big part of my life since then and I can’t imagine my life without him.
Absolutely anything at all helps and thank you so much in advance.
