Imagine trying to do everything right.
Eating well, exercising and trying to maintain a
healthy lifestyle, both physically and spiritually.
That is how my friend Erin has always been.

Now imagine being diagnosed with breast
cancer.

It was devastating for me, I can’t imagine how
she felt.

Erin has already undergone surgery twice to remove unhealthy cells.
Sadly, her case was not as straightforward as we initially hoped it would be, and she requires
more treatment.

The cancer was more advanced then they
originally thought. Stage 3a.
It took multiple opinions to decide on a
clear treatment plan.
In addition to radiation and future surgery Erin
is undergoing chemotherapy.

She has attempted to find the best care possible for her body.
This has involved lengthy travel for second
opinions, answers and of course treatment and
recovery time.

Erin has been on this journey since her diagnosis in June, all the while resisting my fund raising
pleas.
She has always been very humble and private.
However, the expenses have become a
challenge.
I believe no one should do this alone and that a
little bit of support goes a long way.

I know that with the help of friends, family, and
the kindness of strangers, we can make her road
to recovery a lot easier.
