Jonah is a kind, funny, and creative 3 year old from Buffalo, NY. His energy and charm bring joy and light to everyone he meets. He was also recently diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma, an incredibly rare and aggressive form of pediatric cancer.  <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/31962330_1533667748526045_r.jpeg" alt="31962330_1533667748526045_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> Since his diagnosis, Jonah’s parents Tori and Henry have received a crash course on the harsh realities of childhood cancer. Jonah has just embarked on an aggressive 18-month treatment plan with the support of his parents and a team of doctors and experts. However, Tori and Henry are facing mounting expenses and the need to take considerable time off from their jobs, some of which may need to be unpaid leave. Jonah is going into this fight with all of the resilience and stubbornness of a 3 year old. But he will also need the support and love of his community to win this fight. <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/31962330_1533667683524977_r.jpeg" alt="31962330_1533667683524977_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> Let’s provide some peace of mind for Tori and Henry as they support their little guy on this journey. Not only do they need to be able to leave work at a moment’s notice if Jonah’s hemoglobin levels drop suddenly or he gets an infection, but there are major in-patient hospital stays in his treatment plan that will require significant time off. Most importantly, we can buy them time. Tori shared with me recently that there’s a 50/50 chance Jonah will be cured, and every moment they get to spend with him is precious.
