Dear Friends and family, I am writing to you as someone who has an extremely difficult time asking for help. I would rather clean toilets than ask for a penny.
The Lord has allowed our family to be in a situation, however, that is clearly too big for me alone. In obedience to the Lord, I am setting aside my pride and reaching out to you. I want to share with you what is going on but I also want to protect my daughter so as not to mark an even greater scarlet letter upon her (this said, please keep this confidential as she does not know I’m sending this out). Accomplishing both proves challenging and I apologize in advance for being vague as I stumble through writing this. Writing this stretches me to my limits in every way possible, so please bear with me….
My daughter Teaghan has had an extremely difficult year. Due to tragic circumstances, she was forced to change schools 3 times and, unfortunately, had very terrible transitions. During this time, she has also experienced devastating trauma as a result of others’ sin. The poor choices she made in response to difficult circumstances were not healthy and have sent her into a tailspin of despair as she battles to fully and forever overcome a powerful addiction.
This is not helped by remaining local with temptations and ties to the “wrong group” so close at hand. Through prayerful consideration and total allegiance to God's divine plan, I have decided to send her, on faith, to an all-girls Christian therapeutic boarding school designed to work with troubled teens who have a desire to transform their lives.

This is my desire for Teaghan and I am thanking the Lord that this is her desire as well. She is in a desperate place with no other good options in site.
I believe this opportunity could save her life and change her future. The girls in this program cook their own food, clean, do usual academics as well physical exercise. The daily instruction and all aspects of the school are designed to be reminders of God’s goodness and Power.
Astonishingly, there is an 89% success rate 5 years and 10 years down the road in the girls turning their lives around and being able to be a positive contributing member of society.
Although the cost of this program is supplemented by many churches and organizations, it is still not inexpensive, costing a little over $3K a month. I would not be doing this for Teagan if I did not believe it was absolutely necessary. Walking by faith alone, I'm hoping people will help me earn money to pay for her 15 months there--for her treatment, education and the support she needs to be a successful and happy citizen and a warrior for Jesus Christ. I need help. Any financial gift the Lord puts on your heart to share in an investment in Teagans life would be greatly appreciated. Even the $20 you might have spent at Chick Fil A would be a blessing!
Above all, however, I covet your prayers for Teaghan. Please pray that God will cleanse her and help her accept God's forgiveness, forgive herself, find her identity and believe that she can overcome her hardships and feel like the amazing child of God that she is!
