This is an incredibly unfortunate and tragic story, with an intense blessing. Our Beloved Nicole Herman-Brown, from Campbell River, is going through the unimaginable. She has just been informed that the father of her children, the love of her life, the man she's been involved with for seven years, has tragically passed away this past weekend. He did Not have life insurance and she is left to pick up the pieces and figure out her next life steps all on her own. Let's come together and help this widowed mother of two, soon to be three.
Dillon Brown was a compasionate and dedicated father of 2, his love for his children and his wife was undeniable. Nicole is an amazing, beautiful, hard working, young mother of two, and her stregth and determination is beyond admirable. Not only is this unexpected tragic news too much for one person to emotionally/physically/mentally handle, but now she has just been informed that she is also pregnant with his child.
This is the ultimate time of need; A woman who must grieve the man who meant everything to her, grieve the man her children looked up to and cherished, she must grieve the loss of his life while staying strong for her children and continuing to care for them every single day with strong composure and grace - while hormonally pregnant! How is a woman, or any single person, supposed to do all of that AND provide financial means for their family? How is a person supposed to just carry on right away and upkeep a 9-5 job and financial stability after such a misfortunate loss? A person can only handle so much, it pains me, and everyone around her, SO deeply to know the heartache she is going through. We cannot have this stress affect her unborn child, this is a blessing baby and, Please, as her family and friends, we must step up and help, every single little bit helps right now. Anything will help make this transition, to a shocking new life chapter, just a little easier.
