Rehab for Susie's mom

Susan Lisa Schaaf may be the most generous person I know. She has not only always been generous with money,  gifts, and picking up bar tabs, she is also generous  in spirit. Everything about Susie’s nature is as giving and full as her laughter. But of course Susie won’t ever ask for anything in return. That is why I am starting this gofundme for her. She would never do this for herself…and she most certainly needs the help!

Susie has been the sole caretaker for her mom who has end-stage dementia. If that isn’t hard enough, her mom had a fall leaving her so crippled that she can’t even bend her legs. Her mom will need rehab just to be able to get to where she can be transferred to a wheelchair…she is that bad. As we all know insurance only goes so far. They are left having to pay out thousands of dollars …money that that just isn’t there to pay. The money raised here will go to covering a the rehab and medical equipment that insurance isn’t covering.

There is something so terribly broken with our healthcare system, but this is where we are left…asking each other for help and support so we can simply keep our loved ones alive. Thank you for donating and for sharing the word. Much love to you all …always.
