Hello all,
We are a group of youth in the Coachella Valley who have graduated from or are currently enrolled in Xavier College Prep and PDHS.
During this unprecedented time, we are seeking to give back and support the community that we call home. We want to raise funds for personal protective equipment, otherwise known as PPEs, for physicians in the Coachella Valley. These include essential gear such as gloves, gowns, and face masks and shields.
According to data released by the U.S. Census Bureau, the surging cases in Coachella Valley indicate that it is the hardest hit by new COVID-19 cases and deaths within Riverside County. As of July 13th, the range of COVID-19 new cases are ranging from 500 to over 1,000 every single day.

After seeing the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the Coachella Valley, we recognize the urgent need for protective medical supplies in the form of PPEs for our health care workers who are risking their lives to help our community every day.
Some of our closest friends and family members work in the medical field and we cannot imagine them going to work every day without adequate protection.
The protection of our health care heroes is essential during these alarming times.
