PPE for NHS and Key Workers

Since Gordon's School's early closure for the Easter holidays due to the Coronavirus, staff have been proactive in helping the local and wider community.

While our medical staff are supporting local hospitals, other departments have donated food, protective goggles and gloves and chocolate treats to the homeless and local community groups delivering to those in isolation. Elderly former students (Gordonians) have also benefited and been called for a cheery chat.

DT Teacher Tom Webb started producing protective visors from the school's workshop and he and his team of teachers and support staff across the school have made hundreds to help in this nationwide effort to protect our NHS staff and Key Workers.

Those supplied so far have been the Frimley Park Hospital; St Peter’s Hospital; Woking Community Hospital and care homes; GP surgeries and veterinary practices across the county and country.

We have been inundated with offers of materials and practical help and well-wishers wanting to contribute financially to the production of these visors. In response to this, we are setting up this Gofundme page.

All proceeds will go towards frontline workers.

We thank you in advance for your donation and for helping us to continue our contribution to frontline workers.
