No parent should ever have to bury their child; however, tragedies unfortunately happen. When they do, the support structure surrounding the grieving family is of utmost importance. Beyond the thoughts, prayers and support that the structure brings, the monetary situation is sometimes forgotten.
Susannah graduated from Manchester Valley High School in 2014 and attended Salisbury University. Susannah worked part-time for CHANGE, Inc. during breaks from school. Her mother, Katherine Badders and sister Victoria Badders work for CHANGE as well.
The average cost of a funeral in America today is $10,000.00. Even for financially comfortable families, funerals are as expensive as they are stressful. So many people have expressed a desire to help the Badders Family during this devastating time and that is why this link has been created to the Susannah Badders Memorial Fund. All of the people that Susie has touched during her life can hopefully help relieve some of those stresses.
We are setting our goal at $10,000.00, which we believe is an amount we should be able to reach based on the number of people reaching out to the family on social media and other forms of communication.
Some may be going through tough times of their own and donations may not be possible; however, the donation of love and support is just as appreciated.
