To attend PowerTech Africa in Kenya

Roughly 4 million people in Africa die each year as a result of the energy crisis the continent is currently facing; thats more deaths caused by lack of access to electricity than Malaria and HIV combined. Vexen Energy is a startup company that my dear friend Kyle Mccullough and I founded this year. Our mission is to bring renewable energy storage systems to Africa.
In order to get investors for this venture, we need to interact with our target market. The funds we receive in our GoFundMe efforts will go straight toward buying our tickets for PowerTech Africa: a networking  conference in late January 2018, located in Kenya, where we will have the opportunity to meet with government officials, regulatory bodies and investors. Each ticket is $1,500, which is far beyond this college student's budget. We are incredibly grateful for every donation we receive, no matter how small or large! Every dollar is a step closer to powering Africa. I know it is a short amount of time and a lot of money, but opportunities like this come once in a lifetime. Thank you again!!!!
