Hi Family & Friends....
Shannon here! I would like thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers for our family in Puerto Rico. As you know Hurricane Maria was quite the force. So much so that the entire island is without power and will probably not get power within the next 6 months. Wilo's (my husband) mother, brother and aunt have been deeply effected by the storm. She believed that she was completly prepared, but nothing could have prepared Puerto Rico for Maria. Our family is in need of a new generator, as the one that they have is not working. She had it ready to go...tested it before hand. Now that the storm has come and gone, the generator has quit. Wilo's brother has been working tirelessly to get it fixed to no avail. They are also in need of drinking water, batteries, tolietries, etc. They live in a good-size housing area that would also benefit immensely from our family recieving some additional supplies. We believe in sharing the wealth! The need for this is RIGHT NOW--it is critical in PR. Thank you again for all of your thoughts and prayers. They got our family through Hurricane Maria. Now we need a little something to get them through the aftermath. Your support means the world to us. <3
Once we get enough funds together, we will be shipping a new generator, batteries, water purifier and toiletries from a contact we have that can get it directly to our family. FEDEX is said to be starting delivery next week as well. Thank you again!
