Poverty Outreach for Gainesville-Hall County

Hello friends, family and acquaintances! Most of you know about my poverty outreach over the last few years in the Gainesville-Hall County community (GA) and I invite you to join me in this cause so that the “last shall be first.” 

And here’s the deal I’ll make with you: I will personally match every dollar you give up to $2,000. That’s potentially $4,000 (or $1,000 for each of 4 organizations I’ve chosen to support thru this fundraiser). 

The 4 nonprofits your donations will support are: The Newtown Florist Club civil rights org; Good News at Noon homeless mission; Hispanic Alliance GA; and North Georgia Works! (a transitional and educational facility for homeless men). 

These groups help house, feed and educate the homeless; assist low-income families in paying bills; and provide free tutoring to schoolchildren, among many other services. 

I know times are tough for everyone, whether personally or financially — or both. And I know so many of you give to our community in beautiful ways. But if you feel inspired to join me in this fundraiser, then let me thank you upfront.
