<div>La tragédie de nos frères en Palestine a pris une tournure encore plus sombre et déchirante ces deux dernières semaines.

</div>

<div>Oubliez la destruction des maisons, oubliez le ciblage brutal des hôpitaux, oubliez les bombardements aveugles et les déplacements forcés, l’un après l’autre.

</div>

<div>L’horreur atteint de nouveaux sommets : l’ennemi, avec une cruauté délibérée, vise désormais les tentes fragiles des familles réfugiées, celles qui ont déjà tout perdu.

</div>

<div>Plus de 200 000 âmes innocentes dorment à la belle étoile, exposées aux rigueurs du ciel, sans aucun abri. Parmi nos amis, certains ont payé le prix ultime, d'autres sont grièvement blessés.

</div>

<div>Et je suis là, accablé par le fardeau écrasant plus de 60 familles, luttant désespérément pour leur survie sans nourriture, sans eau.

</div>

<div>Nul besoin de parler des médicaments ou du lait pour les nourrissons, car le prix d'une simple boîte dépasse maintenant les 90 dollars… La douleur est insupportable.

</div>

<div>On dit souvent qu'une aumône n'appauvrit pas, mais en temps de guerre, ton frère a un droit sacré sur ton bien. C’est une responsabilité que nous ne pouvons ignorer.

</div>

<div>Que Dieu soit notre secours, car en ces heures sombres, Il est le seul vers qui nous pouvons nous tourner.

</div>

<div>Au début des bombardements, je passais beaucoup de temps à informer sur la situation à Gaza et à partager ce que nous vivions à chaque instant à travers les réseaux sociaux. Ceux qui ont l'habitude de me suivre savent que j'ai aidé mes semblables palestiniens qui ont fui le nord de Gaza pour tenter de se mettre à l'abri.

<div>J'ai confectionné des repas avec mes propres ressources jusqu'à épuisement : nourriture, eau, médicaments, vêtements… Tout a été utilisé pour aider ceux qui en avaient besoin.

</div>

<div>Puis les bombardements ont tout détruit. Maisons, écoles, hôpitaux, commerces, mosquées, églises, moyens de transport… Tout est en ruines. Plus aucune aide humanitaire ne parvient à entrer depuis plusieurs mois, le passage de Rafah, qui permettait cette assistance, est totalement détruit. Les quelques hôpitaux encore partiellement fonctionnels sont en grande difficulté, manquant de tout le nécessaire, que ce soit pour les soins de base ou les soins critiques. Malheureusement, ma maison et mon entreprise n'ont pas été épargnées.

<div>Nous vivons actuellement, ma famille et moi, ainsi que d'autres familles, dans des tentes, dans des conditions plus que précaires.

</div>

<div>Nous changeons constamment d'endroit, essayant de nous abriter des bombes, de survivre.

</div>

<div>L'état des enfants est catastrophique. Ils sont traumatisés, la peur se lit sans cesse dans leurs yeux.

</div>

<div>Au moindre bruit, ils sursautent. Ces expériences les marqueront à vie.

</div>

<div>Je fais tout mon possible pour trouver de l'eau potable, de la nourriture, des médicaments, et pour construire des tentes, non seulement pour ma famille, mais aussi pour toutes les familles, veuves et orphelins, qui partagent avec nous cette lutte pour la survie.

</div>

<div>À partir du fajr, nous faisons la queue pendant des heures dans l'espoir de recevoir de l'eau, dans un système de premier arrivé, premier servi. Mais souvent, malgré l'attente interminable, nous repartons les mains vides.

</div>

<div>La situation est désespérante. L'alimentation est très restreinte, l'eau et les médicaments sont rares.

</div>

<div>Les produits d'hygiène sont inexistants. La vie telle que nous la connaissions s'est arrêtée. Des âmes bienveillantes, que j'ai rencontrées sur les réseaux sociaux, nous ont aidés par des dons pendant un certain temps, ce qui nous a permis d'acheter de l'eau et de la nourriture dans la mesure du possible, lorsque nous en trouvions chez les commerçants.

<div>Mais les prix des denrées alimentaires ont atteint des sommets inimaginables. Nous faisons à nouveau appel à ces âmes bienveillantes et humaines pour nous aider à survivre dans ces conditions que nous ne souhaitons à personne de connaître.

</div>

<div>Nous attendons un cessez-le-feu définitif, espérant pouvoir enfin respirer, soigner nos blessures, enterrer dignement nos martyrs, faire notre deuil, et peut-être, un jour, reprendre une vie normale.

</div>

<div>Nous rêvons de reconstruire nos maisons dans un environnement sans bombes, et de pouvoir dormir sans craindre pour nos vies à chaque instant.

</div>

The tragedy facing our brothers and sisters in Palestine has taken an even darker and more heartbreaking turn in the past two weeks. Forget the destruction of homes, the brutal targeting of hospitals, the indiscriminate bombings, and the relentless displacement. The horror has reached new levels: the enemy, with deliberate cruelty, is now targeting the fragile tents of refugee families—families who have already lost everything. Over 200,000 innocent people are now sleeping under the open sky, with no shelter from the elements. Among our friends, some have lost their lives, while others are seriously injured. And here I am, overwhelmed with the responsibility of more than 60 families, desperately trying to keep them alive without food or water. There’s no point in mentioning the lack of medicine or baby formula, as the price of a single can has now exceeded $90… The pain is beyond words. It’s often said that giving charity doesn’t make you poorer, but in times of war, your brother has a right to your resources. This is a responsibility we cannot ignore. May God help us, for in these dark times, He is the only one we can turn to. When the bombings first started, I spent a lot of time sharing updates about the situation in Gaza and explaining what we were experiencing on social media. Those who follow me know that I’ve been helping fellow Palestinians who fled from the north of Gaza in search of safety. I used my own resources to prepare meals until they were completely depleted: food, water, medicine, clothing—everything was used to help those in need. Then the bombings destroyed everything. Homes, schools, hospitals, businesses, mosques, churches, transportation—everything is in ruins. No humanitarian aid has been able to get through for months, and the Rafah crossing, which allowed aid to enter, is completely destroyed. The few hospitals that are still partially operational are struggling, lacking even the most basic supplies. Unfortunately, my home and business were not spared. My family and I, along with other families, are now living in tents under extremely harsh conditions. We’re constantly moving, trying to find shelter from the bombs, just trying to survive. The children are in a terrible state. They’re traumatized, and you can see the fear in their eyes all the time. At the slightest sound, they jump in fear. These experiences will stay with them for the rest of their lives. I’m doing everything I can to find clean water, food, and medicine, and to build tents—not just for my family, but for all the families, widows, and orphans who are struggling to survive alongside us. From dawn, we wait in line for hours hoping to get water, in a first-come, first-served system. But often, despite the long wait, we come away empty-handed. The situation is desperate. Food is extremely limited, and water and medicine are in short supply. Hygiene products are nowhere to be found. Life as we knew it has come to a complete standstill. Generous people I met on social media helped us with donations for a while, allowing us to buy water and food when we could find them. But the prices of basic goods have skyrocketed to unimaginable levels. We are once again appealing to those kind and humane souls to help us survive in these conditions, which we wouldn’t wish on anyone. We’re waiting for a permanent ceasefire, hoping that we can finally breathe again, heal our wounds, bury our martyrs with dignity, grieve, and maybe, someday, return to a normal life. We dream of rebuilding our homes in a place without bombs and of sleeping without the constant fear of whether we’ll still be alive in the next five minutes.
