Beautycounter’s mission is to get safe products into the hands of everyone. We do that through education, solution through safe product, and advocating for legislative change. In the spirit of that effort, I’m enlisting your help...
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and a team of Beautycounter consultants in my organization (including myself) are partnering with the The Wellness House in Hinsdale, IL to supply CARE KITS to patients receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatment who are affiliated with their organization. A CARE KIT is a gift of five of Beautycounter’s top selling products designed to address the health risk of incredibly dry skin caused by chemotherapy/radiation and help reduce the toxic burden on an already compromised immune system. Equally as important, it is a gesture of encouragement and support for those enduring a great challenge.
Here’s how it works…an individual agrees to sponsor a "kit" or a portion of a kit that costs $40. This covers the cost of four products (BC body wash, BC hydrating body lotion, BC hand cream and BC body bar plus tax and shipping). With my commissions on those items, I purchase a fifth product (lip conditioner) to add to the kit.
This campaign will run through the month of October and I will place a bulk order for all the items by October 31. They will be sent directly to me and as a team, we will assemble and distribute the pouches to the Wellness House mid November.
Please note, all commissions earned from these orders go into the fulfillment of the kits. The benefit I receive is the same one you receive, the opportunity to be a small, but hopefully, meaningful part of someone’s recovery.
You can buy multiple kits, one kit, half a kit, a portion of a kit or NO kit at all. Again, there is no pressure to participate. All I ask is that maybe you will be willing to share this campaign, or my contact info, with anyone with whom you think this project might resonate. Our team goal is 200 CARE KITS! I know we can do it.
