Hello,
This is the first charity drive for Post Traumatic Scuba Diving. We are seeking funding to obtain dive gear to train our donors (more on that coming next week) and the beneficiaries of our organization. Our first fundraiser will be centered around low cost PADI open water dive certification for donors and having the gear to train them in is key to maximising the benefit of this fundraiser by avoiding rental fees.
Post Traumatic Scuba Diving is a non profit organization located in central Florida dedicated to providing relief to combat veterans, victims of violent crime, and the physically disabled through scuba diving therapy. With your help we plan to have our first class of beneficiaries in the water and on their way to recovery by March 2022.
Each of P.T.S.D's beneficiaries (and a guest) will be provided a PADI open water dive certification and training during a week long retreat designed to give the skills and confidence needed to safely enjoy the therapeutic benefits of scuba diving.
There is calming world under the water that disconnects you from the problems on the surface and we strive to give our P.T.S. divers access to its benefits.
