Post Funeral Cost for my Grandma

Hello Family and Friends,
As many of you may know my mother Joann Adams (on left in photo) passed away last week Wednesday on 18 Oct in the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) hospital in Charleston. Unfortunately, on 12 October while in her home with a cousin she went into respiratory failure that resulted in a cardiac arrest. Though we hoped she would pull through in the Intensive Care Unit God had a different and better plan which was to call her home with Him indicating her assignment on earth was complete. Our family knows there’s no better place to be than present with our Lord where there is no more sickness, pain, suffering, crying, and even dying.
Many of you reached out once notified about my mom’s passing to ask how you could help and some wanted to send flowers. We agreed as a family that the best help we could use is financial in lieu of flowers for my surviving grandmother Rosalee Witherspoon (on right in photo). As we all may have experienced in some form or another our parents don’t always share personal information with their children because they never want us to worry. The Life Insurance that we found THANK GOD was just enough to cover my mother’s funeral and burial expenses. The challenge we have now are the many outstanding bills that need to be paid and major repairs needed to the home where my grandmother resides. My mom lived with my grandmother and tended to her personal needs such as medical appointments, scheduled medication requirements, personal hygiene, cooking, and cleaning. Therefore, my grandmother will also require paid living assistance support.
Our family will be forever grateful for any financial love offering to offset the cost of getting my grandmother to a safe and stable quality living condition.
