Post explosion - Mouarkach family in Lebanon

To all our friends & further, 

we are kindly asking for some help for our family in Beirut Lebanon, given the current devastating circumstances. All of our family, including our father, live in Lebanon and have been horrifically impacted by the explosion that happened on the 4th of August 2020. This has come at a really bad time given that Lebanon has already been facing a global pandemic, political unrest and a huge economic collapse which is causing wide spread homelessness and famine. We are among some of the luckiest to be able to say that our family are all alive and safe, however living just 500 metres from the explosion our fathers, aunties and grandparents’ homes have been completely destroyed. 

Due to all the other factors, specifically the economic collapse, our family have next to no financial income to be able to rectify this and repair their homes. We are doing all that we can as a family to support them, however with our own current economic battles it is extremely hard for us to be able to provide anything that will significantly help in such a disaster. This is hard to do, but we are kindly reaching out to our friends and loved ones to ask for any kind of support in the form of donations- no matter how small, we would be eternally grateful. 

In order to raise this money, we will all (Loz, Alexi, Serena and Janine) each run/walk (mother bear) the equivalent of a marathon over the next 30 days. 

Once again, no matter how small or large, we would be so grateful for any donations/help to be able to support our family in any way possible with the damages to their homes and beyond.
