Post Explosion Repairs - Shelley Arnold Coleman

On Saturday, October 17, a business complex exploded when a gas leak ignited. This complex was 300feet directly behind my mom's house.
Her home sustained significant damage. A tiny foundation crack she had repairs scheduled for, has now become a large gapping crack. The garage, and the screened in porch above it, detached from the rest of the house by more than an inch, and a crack formed in the back garage wall. The tiles in an upstairs bathroom on the back of the house, were blown off the wall. Cracks have occurred in multiple rooms due to the foundation shift. Several windows were blown out. The back basement door that leads out to the back yard was blown in, tearing the locks from the door frame. The kitchen door that leads to the back porch was blown open and the glass in the top, blown out. The force of the blast was so strong, that a double door INSIDE the garage that lead into the basement, and was held closed with two 6" boards, was blasted open and the boards were broken in half.
Due to all this damage, her home has been deemed unsafe, and her and her dog are now having to live in a hotel. While she thankfully does have home insurance, there is still the deductible and the unexpected expenses associated with being displaced.
Anything will help to get her a step closer to being back in her home. Thank you so much for any help you can provide!
