Post COVID relief for Joey and Jennie

As many of you already know, our family was hit hard with COVID at the end of November. Thank goodness we are all on the mend and feeling better. We have discovered catching COVID has come with some financial hardship that we are starting to feel. Both Joey and myself were unable to work, me for a week and Joey for two weeks. Thankfully I still got COVID pay while I was out but unfortunately Joey did not. We have been unable to pay our rent on time or in full as a result. The bills keep coming and there is no money in our account to stay afloat.
COVID chose a bad time to sweep through the house right before Christmas so as you can imagine we were not financially ready to take a blow like this trying to make sure our daughters have a good Christmas. Joey and I struggle on and off financially throughout the entire year but always manage to recover and make ends meet. This time is different and we will not have any of our own money in our account until nearly the end of December.
So, here we are, asking the amazing people in our life for a little bit of help to make sure our rent is paid, our other bills get paid on time and we are able to eat until we can get back on track with regular work hours and pay checks. It is difficult for us to ask for help and that is why we have chosen a select few of our closest friends that understand hard times and won't judge us for reaching out in our time of need.
Please, do not feel obligated to donate if you are unable to. We completely understand that we are not the only ones that are struggling, especially at this time of year and especially in this crazy year of COVID we have all had to endure. Please know that any penny donated to our financial well being is appreciated and we are so grateful to have such amazing friends in our lives that we would go to the ends of the earth for.
