My friend, Christine L., is in the midst of a major health crisis. After living with Type 1 Diabetes for 32 years, her body is finally saying ENOUGH!

Christine has stage 4 kidney failure, and is in the process of getting placed on the list of individuals in need of a kidney and pancreas transplant.
As you can imagine, the stress of dealing with these life threatening medical issues is significant. Not being able to pay your monthly bills and prescription co-pays on top of all of that, feels like an impossible situation.
But...it is all possible, with a little help from your friends (acquaintances, friends of friends, neighbors, siblings...). Be part of what is possible. Contribute what you can.
Additionally -- Christine is an O+ blood type. If you're an O blood type, and want to get tested to see if your a match to be a kidney donor, contact me. I'm an O+ myself, and I'd give up my kidney again in a heartbeat! Alas, I need to hang on to the one I have left.
