Posie has been in bad car accident and needs help

This is poor 5 month old Posie who was hit by a car yesterday in Kilkenny.  As you can see she has dreadful injuries from the stomach down. Her pelvis as you can see is dislocated and fractured. Both hips have been dislocated and one socket has been split. There are several more breaks and damage to her legs unfortunately. This morning Saturday the 20th of February 2021 we rushed Posie to our orthopedic veterinary surgeons to both save her legs, pelvis, hips etc. In fact her life. She has had the first of her extensive operations today and over the next few days they will work on her further. Her left side was done today and first diagnosis is it went very well. The next operation on her right side which is the severely damaged side is happening early next week. 

Posie’s recovery is going to be long and hard attimes for this poor puppy but she is strong andhas that vive for life and deserves every single chance to have a great life and we intend to give it to her.  

Posie’s veterinary care, rehabilitation and recovery is going to be long and costly but more than anything worth it. We as a Dog Rescue pledged to help her no matter what the cost along with all the dog’s in our care.

We are asking for anyone that can afford it to help us and if they can to give just a little so that we can give her the best care possible. Our funds are very low as we haven’t been able to fundraise naturally due to the pandemic and we totally understand that not everyone is in a position to do so. Our Dogs in our care are the most important and we will do everything possible to ensure their happiness and health, sometimes we just need a little helping hand.
