Su vida cambió en un segundo, y desde entonces está en el hospital luchando por salvar su vida y con una fuerza inmensa por conservar su pierna.

<div>Gracias al trabajo de un equipo médico extraordinario, Karen ha pasado ya por una cirugía de más de 8 horas, 2 cirugías más de 5 horas y le esperan al menos 2 más. Están reconstruyendo su pierna con la esperanza de que pueda volver a caminar, a moverse, a vivir sin limitaciones. Pero el camino es largo, doloroso y muy costoso.

<div>Hasta ahora hemos hecho todo lo posible por cubrir los gastos con nuestros propios recursos, pero Karen no cuenta con seguro médico, y los próximos procedimientos, hospitalizaciones y terapias son económicamente inalcanzables para nosotras sin ayuda.
