Pitch In For Poppy
Donation protected
Our dear friend Joshua Zachary, known to his many belovéds as “Poppy,” has taken a beating in recent months and on many fronts. Admitted to two different hospitals in two weeks, Poppy has discovered he has been living with what is most likely an inoperable, terminal illness. To compound matters, his identity was stolen while at UAMS in Little Rock. He woke up one day to nearly $1,000 missing from his checking account. Physically disabled for nearly a decade, he relies on a meager fixed income to pay for rent, bills, groceries, medicine, ambulance rides, etc. Almost all of that is gone now, and the emotional burden is unthinkable.
If you know the man, you know him not only as a source of light and mirth in this dark world, but indeed as the most generous man alive. Please pitch in for Poppy while there’s still time. It’s likely we’re to lose the dearest of friends in the coming months. Let’s make what time he has left as cozy and stress-free for him as possible! ❤️
