Spirit (renamed) is a pony in bad shape that was brought to our attention. After Spirits owners were unable to give him the care he needed they generously let us step into help.
Unfortunately Spirit is in desperate need of medical attention in order to get him back to a comfortable state. He will need transportation, vet care, special feed, hoove treatment and rehabilitation therapy. He has been safely transported to a loving foster home that specializes in these types of cases and where he can, once fully recovered, go onto becoming a therapy horse in the future.
Any help in caring for this special little guy is very much appreciated. We just want the rest of his life to be the best of his life. No animal should have to suffer.
We will keep you posted on his continuing treatment and care.
