Dear friends!
Most of you know what situation we were put into when our business partner abruptly left 2 years ago. He owed us a substantial amount of money and has since refused to even come to the table to negotiate. To protect our rights, we had to deposit a lawsuit before the statute of limitation deadline. The next steps will involve some steep legal bills for which we are looking to raise funds.
The restaurant is doing ok operationally, but doesn't generate enough free cash flow to cover the legal fees involved in our quest to recover what we're owed.
We have a great group of friends who have always been extremely supportive - to ask for more help at this time does not come easy.
