Ángel (she/her) is a butch lesbian, longtime community organizer, and 2020 uprising defendant who is currently incarcerated at FMC Carswell in Ft. Worth, TX. She will be placed into ICE custody on 4/1/25 and immediately begin the proceedings for deportation to Chile, where she has not lived since she was 7 years old. Ángel is in need of community support as she navigates the remainder of her incarceration, deportation, and re-entry to the outside world in Chile. As a result of her political sacrifice during the 2020 uprisings, and the betrayal of a supposed comrade who informed the FBI, Ángel’s life has been dramatically changed. She is facing the huge task of rebuilding her life from scratch, far from her home and friends - who the state has ripped her away from.
