Polish American String Band - 2015

Hello/Dzień dobry, and thank you for visiting the Polish American String Band's GoFundMe Campaign!

We at Polish American String Band are very excited to launch this new fundraising program and to provide an easily accessible, secure, and reliable way of being able to reach out to you, our incredible supporters.

For those of you who may be slightly less familiar with Polish American String Band, we are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization based out of Philadelphia, PA.  Established in 1933, the Polish American String Band functions primarily to participate in the annual Philadelphia Mummers' Parade which takes place on New Year's Day where we compete in the String Band Division against sixteen other bands from the area.  This, however, is only a facet of what we do.  Equally important to us is the motivation to honor the traditions of those who came before us and work to keep our Polish heritage, our string band heritage, and the music of both alive and thriving throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area.  We value our community and participate in a variety of local charitable functions such as playing for our local VFW hospital around the holidays, participating in Toys For Tots fundraisers, and supporting other charitable initiatives by performing at their events.  Additionally, we participate in many parades and concerts both locally and on the road throughout the year where our travels take us as far as Boston, MA and Cheektowaga, NY near Buffalo on occasion.  In fact, Polish American has performed around the world with trips to both Poland and Rome where we had the select honor of having played in a private audience with Pope John Paul II.  Wherever there is music, laughter, revelry, and a smile, there's a good chance you'll find Polish American String Band.  





There aren't enough words in both the English and Polish languages combined for us to tell you how appreciative we are for all of the support which we've received from you over the years, and that is why we are extremely proud to be able to offer you, our friends and benefactors, some fun, unique, and exclusive rewards for your continued support and patronage.  Please take a moment to review the rewards associated with different donation levels listed below on this page.  If you choose to donate at one of the reward levels and supply your shipping address, we'll have your items sent out to you as quickly as possible so you can show your Polish American String Band pride wherever you go.  While we will make every effort to ship within a couple of days of receiving your generous donation, please allow up to 4-6 weeks for order processing and shipping in the event that we need to restock any items.

Any and all funds raised through this endeavor will be used to help us continue to both offset our operational expenses and to contribute to our budget for our upcoming New Year's Day Performance.  Every dollar raised goes a long way toward helping us to keep music, heritage, and tradition alive and thriving at Polish American String Band.
