Police Unity Tour 2018

Donation protected
On Monday January 9, 2017 Deputy First Class Norm Lewis was responding  to a call regarding a shooting involving OPD Sgt. Debra Clayton, who confronted a murder suspect and was shot and killed while trying to make the apprehension.  As DFC Lewis was responding to the area, a vehicle driving from the opposite direction, turned left into DFC. Lewis' path of travel causing a collision.  DFC Lewis was transported to the trauma unit, but sadly succumbed to his injuries.  It was a very difficult day losing two servants from two agencies.

In May 2018 riders from across the US and the world will come together to honor the fallen.  The Police Unity Tour riders will cover 250 miles over three days finishing at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.  The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.

The monies raised will help raise awareness and will help support the national memorial so that their sacrifice is never forgotten.

The names of Norm Lewis and Debra Clayton will be added to the wall in Washington DC.  and I will be riding in their honor and for their legacy.  I thank you in advance for any consideration you might give to these efforts, and any support you can offer.
