Police K9 Equipment

The Alliance Police Department would like to move our current K9 team (Officer Anthony Palozzi and Onyx) out of their current Police Cruiser due to the vehicle’s deteriorating condition. However in order to make the move into another cruiser in better condition, it will require the purchase of a new K9 vehicle insert. This insert contains the dog in a climate controlled environment protecting him against extreme heat or cold while in the Police Cruiser. The insert also helps keep the dog safe and comfortable while riding with his partner. The estimated price for the new insert is approximately $2,000.  

We are aware of the overwhelming generosity and support shown by our community to help fund the purchase of a new K9 for the Alliance Fire Department and wondered if there were still people in our community that may wish to contribute to this purchase to help sustain our K9 team’s transition to a better equipped police vehicle. Any donations at all will help and would be very much appreciated by all our officers who count on our K9 unit. Thank you in advance for entertaining the possibility of donating and especially to those who do.  Any monies obtained over our goal for the insert will be used specifically for other needed K9 equipment.
