Keep the Kids Dancing!

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the financial well-being of so many arts organizations and small businesses worldwide, and our dance studio, Point A School of Dance, has been no exception to the devastation. The cancellation of performances, loss of students and inability to recoup the lost income resulted in the rent and bills piling up, causing the the studio to scrape by during quarantine.

We have fortunately begun in person classes again, with many new protocols and procedures to help the safety and well being of our dancers. This has helped us to be able to cover some expenses, but with the loss of enrollment it isn't enough to keep our doors open and the lights on. We are seeking your help to raise funds we desperately need to cover business overhead. Bills are coming due and payments need to be made by October 30, 2020.

In addition to this fundraiser, we have applied for government-sponsored grants and loans. We are doing everything in our power to keep our teachers employed and our dancers in classes.

The success of this fundraiser will allow Point A to stay afloat through the remainder of the current program year. We hope that effective treatments and a vaccine will be developed soon so our classes can fill up again and we can return to the bustling center of dance happiness that we have come to know!

Thank you so much for your help! Not only is the staff grateful, but all the kids who love their dance family appreciate it so much!
