Help for Kristyn's medical bills

Kristyn is 35 years old and has Scoliosis with S curves of 63 and 62. At the age of 13 she wore a brace for 23 hours a day for 18 months. At the age of 26 she received a kidney transplant due to hereditary kidney disease - her husband Todd was her donor. She has since been on immunosuppressant medication to maintain the health of her transplanted kidney. In the Spring of 2017 she was experiencing chronic back pain. After intensive medical intervention it was determined that one of her native kidneys was the cause. She underwent a nephrectomy (removal of the old kidney). Several months post surgery she was in worse pain than before surgery. Again, she sought medical treatment, finally being referred to a spinal specialist. Due to her immunosuppressant medications for the health of her transplanted kidney, which cause decreased bone density and skeletal structure, her curves increased from 45 degrees to their current state. Surgery is her only option as curves will progressively increase due to her need to continue immunosuppressant medication to maintain the health of her transplanted kidney. There are only 2 facilities able to take on her case due to high risk of infection and challenge of placing screws in a weakened skeletal structure, both due to immunosuppressant medication. She has an appointment with a team in St. Louis in December 2017. She is a self employed professional working with children with autism. It is truly her passion in life. Due to her debilitating pain, most days she is fortunate to work with one client. The staggering medical bills from her nephrectomy, ongoing medical visits and missed work (no PTO benefits) and upcoming St. Louis visit/ surgery, she finds herself overwhelmed physically and emotionally.
