Brave Kerrie Anne

My daughter was diagnosed with a very rare sarcoma cancer in April 2016 it came as a great shock to us all. We were all devastated. Doctors told us then it may not be cureable but they would give it there all as she was young and her body otherwise strong. They would give it every chance they could for her and her baby daughter. Kerrie underwent major surgery and spent 3 days in intensive care. In June she began intensive chemotherapy which made her very poorly and she lost so much weight. She underwent a total of 14 sessions of intense chemotherapy and 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy kerrie and I spent 12 months at Nottingham city hospital it became our second home. Her fight was amazing she never gave up her little girl kept her going. The treatment ended in april 2017 and all was looking good no signs of cancer. We returned in June 2017 for a pet scan and on getting the results on 29th June 2017 we were given the most devastating news the cancer was back and had spread. There was no cure, nothing could be done she was going to die. They gave my darling daughter 6-12 months to live.. We were all devastated she has a 2 year old daughter for God's sake. Sadly 1 week later on 6th July 2017 our darling Kerrie Anne passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family nearby. She knew she was dying, the day before she asked me to get the family around so she could say her goodbyes. She was so calm and knew what she needed to do, She said some lovely things which will remain in our hearts forever. The next day she passed peacefully. We want to raise money to give her the biggest bestest send off she so deserves with a big party afterwards to share all the good memories and celebrate her life. She is so precious to us, so brave xx
