The Gray Family

Hurricane Harvey, as you all know, has devastated many parts of Texas. My dear friends, the Gray's, have been evacuated from their home due to the flooding. They have lost everything and will have to work, like so many, to rebuild from scratch. Rod, the father and husband of this giving family, was one of the first faces to greet me as I arrived home from the hospital as a newborn with my mom 40 years ago. We lived on a tight knit street in Henderson, NC  that I hold dear to my heart and I hope to give a small portion back in comparison to what his family has given to me. Rod and his family are constantly serving God and others, so when times get tough...the tough gets going. They are out today serving in the midst of their tragedy.  Rod said to me, "I want our family to be a light in this dark world and the hands and feet of Jesus." We know they are safe and serving, so that alone is a miracle. But, as the days pass and this family works to rebuild, any amount that you can share is a tremendous help. They estimate $15-20K in restoration alone. They have no flood insurance and just purchased and remodeled their home in May. When I last spoke to Rod they were "leaving their hotel to go help out in any way possible."  ALL donations will go to The Gray Family to assist in rebuilding/restoring their home and possessions.  Please consider giving to a family who has given so much to others. I'd like to be like JJ Watt and have to increase the goal because we surpass it in giving. This amount will be a fraction of what they will need moving forward. Any amount helps...
