The Mt. Carmel Rebuilding Fund

Although flowers are always an option, the family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Mt. Carmel Rebuilding Fund in honor of Deacon Charles J. Williams Sr.

The Mt. Carmel Rebuilding Fund is endeavoring to preserve the Historic Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (since 1915). Mt. Carmel is a National Register Listed Historic Church Congregation. It is also a Texas State Land Mark Historic Church, located in The National Historic District of Freedmen's Town-4th Ward-Houston, Texas. Deacon Charles J. Williams and his wife have been faithful members of Mt Carmel for over the past 50 years.
